Project 2

For my second project I had a lot of problems with creating an package that I felt would stand out as lipstick packaging because I knew that it would have to be on the smaller side.  I also knew that I wanted it to be something to stick with my theme of "I Love Lipstick" and just that fact that I think that makeup packaging is something that you can be really out there and fun with.

Some problems I had when making this was being able to get the chipboard strong enough to lift the lipstick up when you pull up the heart (and also making the heart sturdy enough that it didn't pull apart when pulling it).  I solved this with using glueing layers of  chipboards together to make it sturdier.  My biggest problem, however, was cutting the heart, as I learned that curves are quite hard to do with chipboard.
